• Reactions to Obama’s Support for Marriage Equality
  

  On Wednesday, in an interview with ABC News, President Obama expressed support for marriage equality, saying “I think same-sex couples should be able to get married.”

  Afterwards numerous organizations have released statements of support across the country, including labor unions, environmental groups, social justice and civil rights advocates, and organizations advocating for equal rights for LGBT people.
