    About Us

Thank you for reaching out. Our full-service immigration law practice continues to be completely operational with all client meetings and new consultations taking place telephonically or through video conferences. We remain open as an ''essential business'' as we understand that visa expiration dates and case deadlines have not been suspended by USCIS or CBP and our work continues to be of the utmost importance to the local immigrant community. We also understand that travel restrictions put in place by COVID-19 as well as unemployment matters can greatly affect immigration cases. We are happy to offer a discounted consultation rate of $100 to any chamber members.

    Take care!

    ******
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, beginning March 16, 2020, Rostova Westerman Immigration Law staff will be working from home as much as possible. We remain open as an ''essential business'' as we understand that visa expiration dates and case deadlines have not been suspended and our work continues to be of the utmost importance. Our staff and client health is a top priority while continuing to work on our cases. We are having new consultations via video and phone and continue to accept new clients. Email will be the best form of communication with our office at this time.

Please be aware that our responses may be slower than usual, but we will do our best to return calls, emails and messages in 1-2 business days. Due to shut down orders for Broward County, our office will no longer allow any in-person appointments or document drop-offs. We will rotate two team members in the office each day to check mail and send out any cases which need to be filed. Please know that we will practice social distancing and will engage in hand washing and sanitizing of all work stations when we are physically in the office.

If you have an appointment currently scheduled, we will keep it set for the same date/time and contact you to change the appointment to PHONE or VIDEO. We expect this to be a temporary change in operations and last possibly until May 1, 2020. We will continue to monitor direction from the CDC as well as federal and local government agencies and adjust our timeline as necessary.

    Immigration Closures/Cancellations:

Immigration Court: As of now, all immigration courts have cancelled ALL hearings until May 1, 2020 for non-detained cases. Only hearings for individuals in detention will continue. The courts are open for filings and all filing deadlines and call up dates must be adhered to.

USCIS: As of March 17, 2020, USCIS is closed for any in-person services until at least May 3, 2020. This means all interviews, citizenship ceremonies, fingerprint appointments, and InfoPass appointments have been cancelled. USCIS will re-send appointment letters when they re-open for in-person services. USCIS Service Centers remain fully operational and local offices are open and working on files that do not require in-person contact. All deadlines and expiration dates must be adhered to.

Asylum Offices: Asylum offices are closed for walk-ins and for previously scheduled decision pick ups as well as all interviews.

U.S. Consulates: All consulates worldwide are now closed for interviews. Interviews will be rescheduled upon re-opening.

Due to childcare availability, my working hours will be reduced to approximately 9AM - 3PM, Monday through Thursday.

    We appreciate your understanding.
