Dining Out For Life, International Fundraising and Food Event, To Support Broward House Locally Set For April 26th
Help make a difference by simply enjoying a meal with family or friends during Dining Out For Life® hosted by Subaru®, a delicious event held on Thursday, April 26th. The annual event is magnificent in its simplicity: Dine at one of the 3,000 participating restaurants in more than 60 cities across North America and that restaurant will donate a generous portion of the day's proceeds to fund HIV/AIDS care, prevention, education, testing, counseling and other essential services in their city.
2018 marks the sixth consecutive year that Broward House will be the local host/beneficiary organization. Broward House has served Broward County for 30 years in providing care and prevention for HIV/AIDS. In 2018, the agencies 95 staff have had 8,000 contacts with individuals through their prevention/education, testing, case management, assisted and independent living programs and their counseling and substance abuse treatment programs.
Broward House President and CEO Stacy Hyde states, “We are grateful to our restaurant owners for their generosity and commitment to the community. We invite everyone to go out and eat at one of these giving restaurant partners on April 26th and support these restaurants throughout the year. Your presence will make a difference for those we serve and combat stigma by stating HIV Care and Prevention matter as HIV/AIDS is still an epidemic in Broward County.
