Join us during Art Week as we activate the museum with art making for all ages! NSU Art Museum’s Teen Art Council is taking over Free Starry Nights and invited our community partners to join us as we infuse the museum with drop-in art making activities. Free for all ages and open to the public.
The Teen Art Council at NSU Art Museum (TAC) embraces teens and empowers peers within the museum space by providing programming and support that enhances leadership skills, critical-thinking and developmental milestones for an emerging professional. This program allows teens to have the opportunity to collaborate with peers to plan events, investigate exhibitions and discover the inner workings of the museum. Our mission is to create spaces and programs for teen representation and bridge the gap between teenagers and NSU Art Museum.
Enjoy FREE Museum admission and 2-for-1 All Day Happy Hour on the first Thursday of every month from 11 am to 7 pm during Free First Thursday Sunny Days/Starry Nights.
Teen Art Council is sponsored by the Jerry Taylor and Nancy Bryant Foundation, Wege Foundation, and Lillian S. Wells Foundation.
