Position Overview:
As the Operations Manager of our fire, water, mold, and biohazard remediation/restoration division, you will play a pivotal role in the daily supervision and coordination of our production department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that each job undertaken by our Ready Team aligns with our company's rigorous standards for customer service, revenue targets, and overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership: Lead and manage the production team to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Provide clear direction, set expectations, and support the team in achieving their best performance.
Quality Assurance: Oversee the delivery of restoration services to ensure they meet the highest quality standards and are in line with industry best practices. Conduct regular assessments and implement improvements as needed.
Customer Satisfaction: Champion a customer-centric approach in all aspects of the department's activities. Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective actions to address any issues promptly.
Financial Management: Work closely with the senior management to monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure revenue targets are met. Identify opportunities for revenue growth and profitability enhancement.
Operational Efficiency: Streamline operational processes and workflow to enhance efficiency and productivity. Identify and implement best practices to optimize resource utilization.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all projects comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements. Implement and maintain safety protocols to safeguard the well-being of team members and clients.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to projects, resource allocation, and performance metrics. Provide regular updates to senior management.
Team Development: Foster the professional growth and development of department staff by providing coaching, training, and guidance. Identify opportunities for skill enhancement and succession planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business management, construction management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Proven experience in a leadership role within the restoration or construction industry.
Strong understanding of fire, water, mold, and biohazard remediation processes.
Working knowledge of Xactimate or similar platform.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in project management and reporting tools.
Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
