About Us

CAN Community Health has been serving the needs of the HIV/AIDS community in Sarasota, surrounding counties and across the state of Florida for over 26 years. We are a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the treatment, care and continual wellness of people living with the HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C and STDs. Our Sarasota headquarters clinic offers medical, dental, psychological and lifestyle counseling to all patients, regardless of their financial situation, insurance status or ability to pay. CAN has also become a part of the LGBT community offering education, assistance and support to other local organizations.

CAN owns and operates 29 medical clinics – non-profit clinics are located in Sarasota, North Port, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Ybor City, Ft. Lauderdale and Daytona; satellite clinics are located in Avon Park, Bradenton, Brandon, Clearwater, Columbia (South Carolina), Daytona Beach, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Miami, North Port, Oakland Park, Orlando, Sarasota, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Wesley Chapel and Winter Park.
