About Us

DOING THE MOST GOOD:
The Salvation Army of Broward County is a South Florida-based 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization dedicated
to meeting human needs without discrimination for nearly 100 years. That means regardless of age, race or
ethnicity, creed, spiritual beliefs, gender, orientation, political views, or socio-economic standing, the Army is
here to help everyone struggling with poverty, homelessness, hunger, or addiction.
The Army strives to facilitate, inspire, and celebrate personal growth and development for individuals,
families, and youths in need. The Army is run by a compassionate and skilled team of people who are
committed to providing the best service possible. It’s because of the generosity of donors and sponsors, like
you, that the Army is able to offer many free services and programs to Broward County residents.
