Greater Fort Lauderdale LGBT Chamber of Commerce Inaugural Spring Garden Party Happening this Saturday
Fort Lauderdale, FL (April 25, 2024) – The Greater Fort Lauderdale LGBT Chamber of Commerce (GFLGLCC) is thrilled to announce its Inaugural Spring Garden Party, a celebration of the vibrant LGBTQ+ and allied community of Greater Fort Lauderdale and the powerful partnerships that sustain it. This exclusive event is set to welcome 150 distinguished guests, including potential new members, current members, corporate partners, elected and appointed officials, business owners, and community leaders.
The Spring Garden Party is designed as a VIP celebration, offering an unparalleled experience in a breathtaking setting. Guests will enjoy an evening of networking, celebration, and appreciation, set against the backdrop of the stunning Intracoastal.
Highlights of the evening include delicious hors d’oeuvres, a hosted bar, live entertainment, and the release of new programming from the GFLGLCC, including the organization’s much anticipated Women’s Business Initiative. In addition, the event will also honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the community with the presentation of the following awards:
- Allied Champion Award for Community Impact: Stacy Ritter, President and CEO, Visit Lauderdale
- Allied Champion Award for Public Service: Debbie Wasserman Schultz, United States House of Representatives
- GFLGLCC Hero Award: William Schultz, Chief of Police, Fort Lauderdale Police Department

The event will also feature the leadership of the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) and other special guests, highlighting the importance of collaboration and partnership within the LGBTQ+ and allied business community locally and nationally.
