Celebrating more then 40 years, Stonewall National Museum & Archives (SNMA) promotes understanding through preserving and sharing the proud culture of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their significant role in society. SNMA presents an ongoing schedule of exhibitions, including author readings and movie screenings on LGBTQ topics, writer’s and book discussion groups, and other special events. Stonewall National Archives contains more than two thousand linear feet of items that document a century of LGBTQ cultural and social history. the professionally-catalogued collection is maintained to strict conservation and archival standards. It is used by scholars, historians, documentarians, researchers and members of the general public.
Stonewall National Library is the largest private lending library of LGBTQ materials in the United States. Choose from over 27,000 books and DVDs and over 60 magazines. Annual memberships cost $35/individual and $55/household. Free to high school students in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties in Florida as well as other students and faculty advisors participating in gay-straight alliances (GSAs).
